Not for Everyone
This model is built for players who want reliability first—without giving up tone, feel, or vintage visual character.
Fixed bridge players
If you prefer a stable, no-tremolo platform, the CT-E delivers a rock-solid foundation.
Players who prioritize staying in tune
With the EverTune bridge, you don't have to worry about constant tuning adjustments mid-set or mid-session.
Players who care deeply about intonation accuracy
The EverTune bridge delivers very, very, very good intonation. Probably the best ever.
Players looking for modern functionality with a vintage aesthetic
The semi-hollow body gives it a familiar, organic visual identity, while the hardware and electronics satisfy the modern player.
Finish and aesthetics
The CT-E Semihollow launches with a single production finish:
- Matte black top
- Natural mahogany back
The contrast gives a modern and understated look on the front, and a warm and organic feel for the back.

The neck and fretboard...
- Roasted maple neck
- Roasted maple fretboard
- Natural headstock finish
Earlier feedback from players leaned toward matching headstocks. Over time, many players began asking for natural headstocks and so we listened!
Custom options
While the stock version is defined, the CT-E Semihollow also includes a custom color option:
Players can choose:
- Body color
- Neck color
- Headstock color
- Pickguard color
- Hardware color
This allows for a fully personalized instrument while keeping the core CT-E Semihollow platform consistent, all without custom shop pricing.
Core specs
The CT-E Semihollow shares several core specs with other Citizen models:
- 25" scale length
- Medium C neck profile
-
22 frets
Active pickups?
One of the most unconventional decisions on the CT-E Semihollow is the use of active EMG pickups in a semi-hollow platform.
Why? Because they deliver great vintage tones with virtually zero noise.
The configuration is:
- Bridge: EMG Fat 55 humbucker
- Neck: EMG P60A P90
- Electronics: EMG RPC
EMG is usually known for high-output clarity and extremely low noise, but they also offer vintage-voiced pickups, and that's what we went with.
Additionally, the RPC is a special high frequency boost that can make the humbucker sound like a single coil for Strat-style tones.
This is great for worship players who need A LOT of tones in a single instrument.
